I've specialized in the greater Pacific area where I've lived in Palau, Papua New Guinea, Guam, California and currently Hawaii while photographing in many countries touching the Pacific ocean. My documentary photography has been exhibited in one man shows at the British Museum, London, the Museum Fur Volkerkunde, Leipzig, Germany, the University of Pennsylvania Museum , and my fine art in many other venues.

My photography has always aspired to creating art though I've supported myself in the commercial, educational and government realms.
